The Massena Town Clerk is an elected position and is responsible under State Law for maintaining the custody of all public records for the Town. The Clerk issues various licenses and permits (including burning, hunting, fishing, dog, building, certificate of occupancy, going out of business, games of chance, bingo and marriage licenses). On behalf of the State and the Town she is also responsible for maintaining other legal documents such as, manuscripts, books, minutes of board meetings and vital statistics.

There is a fee of $10 (payable to Massena Town Clerk) if the request is made in person; or, $16 to request a certificate by mail ($33 if you require next business day).
